2011 SOS ChariTee T-Shirt Design Contest 

We are launching an exciting competition aimed at talented designers. We would like entrants to come up with an innovative, original and saleable t-shirt design to become the official Samaritans Offering Support t-shirt.

Rules and Guidelines:  Designs should relate to some of the following themes: #GiveHope, Medical Expenses, Helping others, etc. (You get the idea.)  Submissions due July 1, 2011

  • Design may incorporate up to four spot (PMS) colors.
  • T-Shirt itself can be any color you wish.
  • Entrants must be over the age of 18.
  • The design must be 100% your work.
  • Design must include the heart from the SOS logo.
  • Entrants may submit more than one design.
  • Submitted designs must be vector format (.ai) or (.pdf) or 300dpi raster images (.jpg) or (.pdf)
  • Email submissions to: info@sosmd.org with “SOS ChariTee Design” in the subject line. When entering, please provide name, a current and active phone and email account. ***Entries should be compressed before emailing.  File sizes over 1M will be returned by the email system.
  • SOS reserves the right to modify designs.
  • Entrants may submit more than one design 

Prize: The winning design will become the official SOS t-shirt, sold in the SOS Hope Store and will be worn by our volunteers and supporters all over the US. Winner will also be able to design other items to be sold in the Hope Store.

Winner: The SOS Board of Directors chooses the winning design and all decisions will be final. The winner will be notified via phone by July 25. The SOS Board of Directors will contact all entrants upon receipt of their design(s). When entering, please provide name, a current and active phone and email account. Please do not contact the SOS Board of Directors about your submission. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Retention of Designs: The entries become the exclusive property of SOS. SOS has exclusive rights to the reproduction of winning entries and the submitting artists relinquish all rights to such design. All proceeds from the sale of t-shirts will go to SOS.

Publicity and Agreement: Entering this contest constitutes an agreement by the winning artist to relinquish all copyrights to the submitted work to the organization and to appear as requested for publicity purposes. Winning designs become the property of SOS, which retains exclusive rights to its reproduction. The proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will go to SOS.
